“ÉTOILE” FOR DOGS OF CARMEL 2025

Painted Labrador resin sculpture for DOGS OF CARMEL 2026 in collaboration with Artist and Ceramist Lauren Merrill. Inspired by French Fashion designers, Christian Dior, Chanel, Herměs and Christian Louboutin, Étoile was painted with orange polka dots, gilded with gold leaf, with her feet covered in silk sitting on red ceramic soles, and her collar made with a silk scarf ornamented with white ceramic flowers and charms. Her body is also animated with ceramic butterflies.
